First Responder Emergency Communications
A VHF/UHF solution is engineered into our chipsets to allow our Stratellites to use standard DVB-RCT systems, compatible and immediately functional with the VHF/UHF hardware most commonly used by first responders.
The need for broader connectivity among individual first responders strongly supports the concept of using equipment already deployed in the defense and civilian infrastructure for first responder and EMS communities.
VHF/UHF equipment can be supported with improved efficiency. It can be used over metropolitan areas to provide immediate availability and can carry up to two-ton payload at an altitude of 65,000 feet. Continuous 24/7 coverage is easily achieved using multiple Stratellites over large population areas, and are available to commence operations soon after deployment (subject to required flight maintenance and travel time from current locations).
